About Us
Off The Walk is a business that is run by a class, Students Acquiring
Knowledge Through Enterprise (S.A.K.E.). SAKE is a student-run, non-profit
business operated through the University of Arkansas' Sam M. Walton College of
Business.
Although Off the Walk is managed by students seeking knowledge about the
operation of an enterprise, it is foremost a business dedicated to customer
service and providing quality products. We take great pride in ensuring that
each product we deliver is exactly what our customers want.
Further, every penny Off the Walk earns is reinvested to develop our
business for our learning experience. Thus, our motivation and focus comes from
the pride of managing a successful business and satisfying our customers.
If you are interested in taking this class, download and
fill out an
application. The application can be returned in Room 259 in the
Business Administration Building. Towards the end of each semester, S.A.K.E.
will review the applications and begin the interviewing process to select the
next semester's class.
Our Products
Off the Walk offers several products that promote the spirit and integrity
of the University of Arkansas. We offer a unique collection of framed diploma
sets that feature a rubbing of the graduate's name etched directly from the
Senior Walk on the University's campus. In addition to this distinctive touch,
our products are comprised of high-quality framing and beautiful artwork
depicting the University's most significant symbols. Each diploma set is
completely customizable, and is available in an array of framing, matting, and
inset options.
In addition to diploma sets, Off the Walk offers a line of University of
Arkansas-inspired artwork. Our hand-painted "Hog Canvas," created by local
artist and Arkansas graduate Matt Miller, is sure to brighten any room with
Razorback spirit.
